British Garden Centres - Hemel

Design & construction of a new Butchers preparation & retail facility in the outer structure of British Garden Centres, Hemel Hempsted.

We were contacted to assist & provide a Butchers preparation & retail space in Hemel Hemptstead Garden Centre.

The chosen location was outside of the centre building so posed many challenges such as weather proofing & temperature fluctuations. We constructed a shell within the outer structure pictured below, which then allowed us to treat the area like any other fit-out.

We worked with the client to decide on the optimal operational layout whilst maximising retail display space.

The new facility is now equipped with everything required in order to operate.

Our works included -

- Erecting temporary hoarding to enclose area of works.

- Constructing an open fronted, weatherproof outer shell including & raised, level floor structure.

- Running & connecting Electrical & Plumbing services.

- Hygiene cladding to all inner walls, including decorative cladding to walls in customer view.

- Integral display refrigeration.

- 2x handwash sinks & 1x wash up sink including hot water systems.

Install & commission external walk in chiller room.

- Air Conditioning system.

- Preparation & product lighting.
